Prior Approval for the erection of a sharable 25m lattice mast with a concrete base, installation of 7no. cabinets, 6no. antennas on 1no. headframe and ancillary development works including erection of palisade fencing with an access gate has been submitted to Sutton Council.
There have been a few applications over the last year or so for 5G masts, the last being approved for on top of Edes building at the bottom of Restmor Way and others rejected on the flower bed by the shops. Although this is a shared mast, it should be noted there is a 5G mast already on Goat Road, a short distance from this site.
Location
The location is on Day & Son’s land on London Road, between Mill Green Lane and Goat Road, close to the bus stop near the mini roundabout, which falls within our Neighbourhood Boundary.

How to submit feedback

If you haven’t submitted an online response before, it is relatively easy. You need to register before you can comment.
- Click on the image below to open up the Sutton Council Planning Portal
- Click on ‘register’. Once you have registered, click on ‘login’
- Click on ‘search’ – ‘planning’ – ‘simple search’
- In the box entitled ‘enter keyword, reference number etc’, put in the planning application number.
- Near the top right is the button ‘make a comment’. Click on it and you should find your details already there.
- Click on ‘commenter type’ and pick ‘member of the public’
- Pick whether you object, support or neutral
- You can then add your comment text.
- When you have finished, click ‘submit’ and you should receive confirmation of your response by email. If you have issues, check to see if you have used any special characters like “%” and remove and try submitting again.
