Hackbridge and Beddington Corner Neighbourhood Development Group have been formed as a group since November 2011 and formally constituted in September 2012.
Whilst the Plan took many years to write, the NDG were busy speaking to developers and responding to many planning applications.
The Plan went to Referendum on 29 November 2018, where it was subsequently voted in. The NDG attended the count on 30 November 2018. The Plan was officially ‘made’ in January 2019.
Referendum result
- 700 residents voted – turnout 14.81%
- 626 voted yes (89.4%)
- 74 voted no (10.6%)
- We are the 12th neighbourhood plan to be adopted in London
