With the build finally started this year, it could prove to be one development in the local area that has actually got enough parking for their residents!
The site has been demolished and plans are to build 25 affordable family houses. The site is owned by Rydon and once Corbet Close has finished and funding found, this site will be developed.
Sutton Council are in negotiations with the remaining freeholders and expect to have vacant possession before the end of May 2015, with demolition work under way soon afterwards. There is no firm date as yet for the start of the new build but should happen sometime during the early summer.
