Felnex – ‘Business Forest’ planning application

The original planning application (C2016/73965) for the ‘Business Forest’ was to mitigate the loss of employment from the Felnex Estate. The original design was for a 4 storey building under the planning class of B1 – Offices/Research and Development/Light Industry. This class was subsumed in 2020 to Class E.

The new application proposes a 2 storey building under the planning classes of B2 (General Industrial) and B8 (Storage & Distribution) and we are concerned what impact these changes will bring for residents of New Mill Quarter and Restmor Way.

How to access the planning application

You can access all the planning documents using the button below and type in the application number DM2024/01755 (we use to provide direct links, but they sometimes time out).
