Local resident Andrew Alden, with the help of his daughter’s hand print, came up with the logo that the NDG are now using. Each finger and the wrist represented a sub-group within the NDG and how they should all work together.
These sub-groups are:-
- housing and built environment
- local economy
- community, culture and identity
- getting around
- environment
- energy, water, waste
