In December 2014, the NDG applied for some bulbs through the Metropolitan Public Gardens Association in alliance with Taylor Bulbs.
The bulbs had to be planted in an area where they would have visible impact, so on 18 December, a group of us feeling like naughty elves (by the looks we were getting from inquisitive public), planted bulbs on one of the grass verges along London Road, Hackbridge by the bus stop with daffodils.
We also planted some further bulbs on Hackbridge Green, to compliment the planting Hackbridge Primary School children did back in the Autumn of 2012.
Having seen our first snowdrop recently, we can’t wait for Spring, to see our hard work come to life.
