Consultation to redesignate our forum

By way of background, Hackbridge and Beddington Corner Neighbourhood Forum (known as the Hackbridge and Beddington Corner NDG), whose Neighbourhood Plan was formally adopted following a successful referendum in 2019), was originally designated in 2012 and then redesignated 5-years later in 2017. As another 5-years has lapsed it was necessary for the area and forum to be redesignated again.

We took the opportunity to apply to change the north-west part of our boundary to include a small piece of land to make it align to the new Hackbridge Ward map, but have kept the southern boundary as residents in these roads, which fall outside the Hackbridge Ward map, have been instrumental in our neighbourhood planning journey.

The Notice of Consultation is below:

“Notice is hereby given that Sutton Council has received an application from the ‘Hackbridge and Beddington Corner’ Neighbourhood Planning Group’, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations (as amended), for re-designation as a ‘neighbourhood area’ and ‘neighbourhood forum’. The Council is seeking views on this application until 27 October 2022.

A copy of the applications for redesignation are available on the website here, including a map of the area it relates to, or are available directly below:
