Back in 2014 we came up with the idea of creating posters to put on the hoardings around the Felnex site.
We provided the children of Hackbridge Primary School with key historical facts of our local area and asked them to use their skills to illustrate and bring the text to life. We were amazed by the talent of these children!
You can read more about the project here.
Overwhelmed by the positive comments about these posters and often asked for copies of the information, it has taken a while, but we have finally produced a booklet containing all of the wonderful illustrations and historical details.
We have secured funding for 200 booklets. As these are limited and we didn’t want them just picked up and quickly discarded, we have decided there will be a small charge of £2.00. This money will be put towards planting, another project the children can get involved in!
The booklets are available at:
The Cafe at BedZED
24A Sandmartin Way | Hackbridge |SM6 7DF
Tuesday – Sunday 10am to 2pm
or families of children at Hackbridge Primary School can collect from the office during school hours.
We hope you enjoy reading it!
